Lawn mowers are core equipment for yard maintenance and landscaping. Their lifespan and operational stability depend heavily on the scientific and timely nature of their year-round maintenance. Different seasons present significantly different operating conditions, requiring different maintenance focuses. Scientific maintenance can reduce malfunctions, lower costs, extend equipment lifespan, and ensure efficient and stable operations.

The core of spring maintenance is to "awaken" the equipment and identify potential problems. Clean the machine body, chassis, and blades of residual grass clippings and dirt. Inspect the blades and sharpen or replace them promptly if they are chipped or dull. For fuel-powered models, clean out the old oil, add qualified gasoline and engine oil, and check the oil level. For electric models, clean the battery interface and test the charging performance. Tighten any loose screws, and check the transmission, braking system, and tire pressure to ensure that the components are operating normally.

Summer maintenance focuses on cooling and protection to avoid overload. In high-temperature environments, stop the machine for 10-15 minutes every 1-2 hours of operation to prevent engine overheating; regularly clean the radiator and air filter to ensure smooth air intake and good heat dissipation; for fuel-powered models, replenish fuel in a timely manner, check for leaks in the fuel lines, and wipe the machine dry after operation to prevent rainwater from causing parts to rust and electrical circuits to become damp.

Autumn maintenance focuses on inspection and storage in preparation for winter. Thoroughly clean debris from the equipment, sharpen blades and apply anti-rust oil; for fuel-powered models, drain remaining fuel, clean carbon deposits, and check and replace worn spark plugs; for electric models, fully charge the battery before storage and ensure proper insulation; replace worn and easily damaged parts, and store the equipment in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment, taking precautions against dust and moisture.

Winter maintenance focuses on preventing freezing and moisture, protecting idle equipment. Run the equipment for 5-10 minutes monthly to prevent component aging; for fuel-powered models, ensure no residual fuel in the fuel lines to prevent solidification and damage; for electric models, regularly top up the battery to prevent depletion; check the storage environment and promptly treat any rusted parts to ensure smooth starting next year.

Seasonal maintenance should be tailored to seasonal operating conditions, focusing on vulnerable parts and emphasizing daily protection. Only by meticulously performing seasonal maintenance can the lawnmower maintain good condition for a long time, providing stable support for landscaping operations.
